Eight

This is a photo of Heart Mountain by Shawnee Dicks. (I found it here.) I like how the tracks lead into the background and up to the mountain. The sunrays look neat against the clouds and the colours are good. It would be a tad bit better if some of the shrubs/tree weren't there but I don't think cutting them down would be acceptable.

Jenaya Launstein took this picture of a Yukon porcupine. I think it's nicely framed and his eyes are in focus. He is pretty darn cute as well.

This photo is by Jason Hahn. The contrast between the light and dark is nice (as discussed in our ever so enlightening book.) The colours are reflected in the water nicely and the clouds in the sky draw the eye into the sunrise/set.

These two photos are by Lucas Payne taken somewhere in Iowa (it all looks the same really.) I like the fog rolling through the field in both of the pictures and the colours in the sky.

This is a picture by Dennis Fast (as pointed out by the ugly water mark.) I like the contrat between the bear and the flowers. Also when I think of Polar bears I think of snow and ice, not flowers, so that's also what was interesting to me about the photo.

This is a picture by Shah Rogers of an Ethiopian wolf. I like the perspective (I guess that's what one would call it) of the large rock formation and the smallness of the wolf. The wolf wonderfully stands out against the light grey sky.
